Everything is going to be okay

Good afternoon, graduates, dead poets, painters, future Einsteins, and all those in between.
Today i'm here to warn you that you are being lied to.
Our parents, our teachers, our doctors have lied to us.
And it's the exact same lie, the same six words,
"Everything is going to be okay."
But what if it isn't? What if some of human experience is just something you inherit, like curly hair or blue eyes?
What if pain is just in your DNA and tragedy in your brightright ?
Or what if  " Or what if sometimes...." 
sometimes right out of the blue, when you least expect it, shit just happens ?


I agree this is a darkest speech you haven't heard it before.
I've spend so much time waiting for this lie to come true. 
I'm not okay. Not at all. The truth is, i'm missing something.
So what do i do with that ? What do any of us do, besides lie ?
This is what i believe. Right now, there is someone who is with you.
Someone who is willing to pick you up, dust you off, kiss you, forget you,
put up with you, wait for you, carry you, love you.
So, while everything may not always be okay, one thing i know is true.
You do not have to be alone.

"The Beaver" 里讲述了一位患有抑郁症而意志消沉的企业家，他压抑了两年，看医生吃药看励志书无效。万念俱灰的他经历了一次自杀失败后拾到了一只海狸玩偶，他借助这只海狸玩偶和家人沟通，重新站起来。


不过后来发现这是一个人格渐渐分裂的病症。他的妻子哀求他重新向医生求救，可是他觉得不舍弃自己或以前他没办法站起来。他没办法不做一个疯子。妻子带着儿子离开了他。他知道自己病了，他想逃脱，伤害了自己一轮，他最后把戴着海狸玩偶的左手锯掉。


企业家的儿子看着自己的父亲几年的压抑症，意志消沉什么也不做，一直睡觉。他不希望自己步父亲的后尘，于是他当枪手帮同学写论文赚钱，希望赚够一个可以失去自我的旅费。不过当被校方发现并将其开除。他步回了父亲面对挫折的后尘，压抑的待在家一直睡觉。他最后一篇当枪手的杰作就是这篇毕业演讲稿。


企业家认为别人已帮不了自己，所以自己制造了一个朋友海狸给自己。有点类似想得到重生的机会，认为只有自己可以帮助自己，尽管是当疯子也无所谓。


总觉得,我很理解。一个礼拜不出家门，不和父母交谈。总是很压抑的待在房间，什么也做不了，什么也不想吃。除了睡觉也不懂该做什么。而也很巧妙的面对朋友、亲戚。谁知道和他们打麻将说话前我是待在房间对着墙壁流泪。


老朋友阿牛说我渐渐的对着大家都戴面具，可能对着他少了一两副。
不过终究是戴着。
是啊，我也发现了。可能是我病了。
不过我能老实的说：i'm sick, help me？
事实是，只有自己。


只能自己慢慢的从里面爬出来，问题是，我爬得出来吗



I've spend so much time waiting for this lie to come true. 
I'm not okay. Not at all. The truth is, i'm missing something.
